 My Mission Statement:
With over fifty years of experience in patient care, I bring together the science of psychiatry and the insights gained from my roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. My goal is to support individuals and families in their journey of learning and growth, enabling them to reach fulfilling lives.

A Learning Psychiatrist:

For more than five decades, I have had the privilege of practicing psychiatry. Over those years, I have remained a lifelong student.

My goal has always been to combine clinical experience with a continuing commitment to learning.

I write posts on this website for my patients and their families. They reflect my ongoing effort to explain psychiatry with diligence, clarity, and humility.

I learn so that my patients and their families can learn about themselves and their unique worlds.
